Makeup In Rotation During May

May has been a continuation of the Covid-19 lock downs. I have spent most of my time self isolating which has left me with a lot of spare time and so once again I’ve been playing around and experimenting with my makeup collection.

This month I shifted more towards blush and pink tones rather than the bronze and browns from April. It’s also getting progressively cooler as we move into Autumn here in Australia so I’ve been trying to bring a little colour back to my face with the rosy tones.

My Makeup in Rotation During May

  • Clarins Blush Prodige Illuminating Cheek Colour

  • Crop Natural Pressed Highlighter

  • RMS Beauty “un” Cover-Up Shade 000

  • Marc Jacobs Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner Earthquake

  • Kevyn Aucoin The Expert Mascara

  • L’Oreal Infallible Eye Paint Breathtaking Brown

The Clarins Blush is the perfect natural flush on my cheeks and the Crop Highlighter is very natural looking in these Autumn months.

I’m also getting very excited as I am nearing the end of the RMS Un Cover-Up pot! I’m planning on putting out a review very soon so keep an eye out for that.

Finally on my eyes I’ve been combining the big lash effect of The Expert Mascara with the classic Marc Jacobs Earthquake liner and a new favourite to my collection, the L’Oreal Infallible Eye Paint Breathtaking Brown. I’m also planning a review on that too as I’ve been loving it so much lately.

Well those have been the main products that I’ve been reaching for in May, I look forward to seeing how they’ll shift once more as we get into cooler weather here in Australia.
