June Empties

After the huge clear-out of my May empties last month, June has been a bit more relaxed for products that I finished. However even though I only went through five products there were a couple that I had been waiting to finish for months now and it’s such a great feeling to be finally freeing up some space in my collection.

Anyway enough of an intro, lets get into my empties for the month of June!

Redwin Sorbolene Moisturiser – Restoring with Vitamin E

If this product looks familiar then you’re not crazy, I actually had two bottles of this and I finished the other one last month and so it featured in my empties there. I won’t give this one another review as I’ve already told you my thoughts on it, but to sum up: I wasn’t impressed. The formula’s not great and with so many other hand cream options there’s better to choose from.

Would I repurchase? No.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturising Hand Treatment

Another hand cream? Yes I go through them. As we are currently experiencing winter here in Australia it’s the season when my skin is the driest it’ll ever be and the only time when my hands are in danger of cracking and causing me a bit of pain. As for this hand cream, it’s definitely one of the nicer formulas that I’ve tried. It sinks into the skin well, doesn’t leave a greasy film and my hands feel super soft afterwards. Unfortunately the only issue I have with this product is the rather high price point for my budget. Because of that I think I’ll try and find cheaper alternatives before I buy this cream again.

Would I repurchase? Maybe.

Leegeehaam GROW Tea Tree 95 Essence

This is the second tea tree essence that I’ve bought and I told myself that if I didn’t see any significant results after I finished this bottle then I wouldn’t be buying any more of it. Needless to say, I’m very glad that I finally finished this product because I never saw any change in my skin or acne from this and I’ve been waiting to be rid of it for months. It’s a very thin, almost watery formula of which you don’t need a lot to cover your face however as for it’s healing and treatment properties I wasn’t impressed at all.

Would I repurchase? No.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau De Toilette

Yay! Another one I’ve been using for what felt like forever. I bought a set of mini Elie Saab perfumes years ago and while this is the second mini that I’ve finished I still have two more to go. But nevertheless I am glad to be one step closer to finishing them off. These perfumes all have a very nice scent, this one in particular is floral and woody. They make me think of a traditional perfume smell and I have been enjoying wearing them. However I think I’ve learnt my lesson about buying a lot of perfume from the same brand, because while I enjoy the smell, I have too many bottles in the same category and sometimes I just want something a little different.

Would I repurchase? No.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

An oldie but a goodie. I’ve been using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for years now and it’s still doing a great job. I did try, for a while, using the Bioderma Micellar Water however I couldn’t see any difference between them that could justify the huge price difference so I went back to the Garnier. After finishing this bottle I went to repurchase it straight away however when I was looking at the products on the shelf I saw that Garnier had brought in a new type of micellar water, a milky formula that piqued my interests so I’ll let you know how that goes when I finish off that!

Would I repurchase? Yes.

Those are all of the products that I finished during the month of June. While there weren’t nearly as many as May the few products that I did use up I’d been waiting to finish for what felt like forever so I was glad to see them go.

Let me know in the comments what products you finished last month and if any of them were good enough to recommend! I’d love to hear.
