iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum Review

This iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum is a new addition to my collection that I discovered when I was looking for a skincare brand targeting sensitive skin.

I don’t have particularly reactive skin however it can be irritated by fragrances in skincare and so I’ve been trying to avoid that with some difficulty. As I’ve discovered, most skincare products include fragrance.

iUNIK is a Korean beauty brand that prides itself on using only hypoallergenic ingredients for all its skin care products. For people with very sensitive skin then I would recommend looking into this brand, I’m currently testing multiple products from them so those reviews will be coming out soon.

As for this iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum, it was described by the brand as a soothing serum offering skin calming relief and moisturisation to relieve sensitive skin. With 19.5% Centella extract helping to alleviate skin traces for a clear and clean skin tone.

I have naturally oily skin that is acne prone with occasional bouts of redness. I’ve tried using Tea Tree skincare products before from The Body Shop however the formula was too strong and it caused my skin to sting and react badly. I was hoping this iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum formula targeted towards sensitive skin wouldn’t have that same effect.

The formula of this iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum is exactly like I imagined a serum to be. It’s very thin, like a watered down gel that I pick up in the dropper and deposit into my palm. I pat it gently onto my face and due to the thin formula a little will go a long way.

The serum sinks in quickly leaving my skin feeling hydrated and looking glowy. I apply this before my creams/moisturisers and it also works well to prep my skin for the heavier products.

I’ve just recently finished this iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum and it lasted me about three months. Unfortunately, during that time, I can’t say I really noticed any improvement in my skin in regards to my redness or acne. I can’t say I noticed anything at all from this serum other than a glowy boost of hydration.

Overall while I did like the soothing and fragrance free formula I can’t say I saw any significant change to my skin that would make me repurchase this before trying something else.
