Unfortunately, I am a person who has been susceptible to impulse purchases, which is how I came to own the Fenty Beauty Summer Glaze Lip Gloss set.
I had gone into Sephora with the intention of buying the Fenty Gloss Bomb and saw these on display with their bright colours and, as I was currently going through a glitter lip gloss faze, I bought them as well. The set of three cost me AUD$46.00.
So I have been wearing these on and off over the last month, and have compiled my pros, cons and thoughts on the Summer Daze gloss set.
Over all I do enjoy these glosses when I wear them however I have found that I’ve not really been wearing them that often.
Unfortunately, due to the colours being different on my lips than in the tubes I can’t really wear the green shade ‘Single’ as it comes off as blue and that makes me look rather dead. The two other shades look nice and I can wear those, yet even so I have not found myself using them too often because with all of their glitter they can look metallic under sunlight and that’s not often what I am going for.
In hindsight, I probably didn’t need to buy them, as I am not using them that often and the green shade I won’t ever wear. It’s not that I dislike colourful lips but more that the metallic effect they can have is not what I am looking for most of the time.
