Back when I had a lot more hair than what I do now I bought a whole set of Bumble and bumble products and then didn’t end up using them! I am finally now getting through this Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil and thought I’d write up a quick review of my thoughts.
This hair oil is a cult classic among the haircare industry, given its name – Hairdressers Invisible Oil. Bumble and bumble describe it as “A lightweight transformative serum that hydrates, smooths and adds shine to lacklustre hair.”
I’ve been using it to tame my hair when it grows out and add a little moisture back into my scalp if it ever feels dry or flaky.
I will apply 2 or 3 pumps into my palm and work that into my damp hair almost like a daily massage.
It’s not a heavy oil, in fact it’s very lightweight and I almost feel like I’m not applying anything. It doesn’t make my hair look wet or greasy; by the time my hair has dried I can’t see any trace of this oil at all.
It leaves my hair silky soft and with that healthy shine you see in ads. I do wash my hair daily so I can’t say if it causes hair to become greasy faster than normal over a period of many days.
As I wash my hair daily I like to add a little moisture back into my hair and scalp and this Bumble and bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil has been perfect for that. I don’t think I would repurchase this in a hurry as it is very expensive and I’d rather try and find a cheaper alternative for my short haircut.
