Before this Lotion P50 PIGM 400 bottle I’d used the standard Lotion P50 before and wanted to see how the different formulas would compare.
This PIGM 400 version of the cult classic Lotion P50 is is a gentle exfoliating, brightening lotion with specific ingredients to address hyper-pigmentation marks and irregularities. Designed for those with a genetically thinner epidermis which I misunderstood a little bit and thought it would be better for sensitive skin. That might be the case however I don’t think it’s targeted for that audience specifically.
Compared to the Lotion P50 this PIGM 400 formula is more gentle on my face. It still brightened and cleared my skin nicely, I could definitely tell a difference after I started using it, however I think that over time my skin became too familiar with this formula and it stopped having the same effect as it did in the beginning.
I think with my skin I need to alternate my skincare products because because after continual use I become used to the same products and they stop effecting my skin in such an impactful way.
While this Lotion P50 PIGM 400 did brighten and clear my skin nicely I think I’ll go back to the standard Lotion P50 next time as this formula isn’t the most suited to my skin type.
